Some learners you just know are destined for the big time: Nicole Bessick was one of them.
And she did not disappoint!
First on her list of achievements was an Honours Degree from UCT specializing in Intellectual Property.
Then there's her acting.
She got her big break in the locally produced and internationally acclaimed crime thriller "Cold Harbour", screened at the Cannes, Berlin and Los Angeles film festivals.
She went on to feature in the Netflix hit "Black Mirror" and Investigation Discovery’s "Killer Instinct".
South African audiences will know her best for her work as Chloe on the hit ETV SAFTA nominated
telenovela, "Broken Vows".
One of the causes close to Nicole's heart is bullying. That's why she accepted a challenge to participate in the annual Celebrity Boxing Event - the first female celebrity boxing match on the continent. The purpose of the fight was to raise awareness around the bullying epidemic in South Africa.
After three rounds, she was crowned the #BullyProof Champion!
She is also the anti-bullying spokesperson for the Jag Foundation, a charity that utilizes sport as a catalyst for social change in disadvantaged communities.
Her efforts earned her a spot as a Marie Claire Future Shaper.
Nicole has featured in a number of newspaper and magazine articles, including in the February 2018 edition of People.
